Edward Valerianson is the author of The Wolf and the Ash, a dark epic fantasy series set in the world of Velthera.He began creating Velthera at the age of twelve, building its kingdoms, characters, creatures, histories, and legends long before he ever imagined turning the world into a book. Twenty-six years later, that childhood creation became the foundation for his first novel.His writing is shaped by a love of dark fantasy, ancient mythology, political conflict, and character-driven stories. He enjoys building not only the story itself, but the history, cultures, maps, and legends behind it.Outside of writing, Edward is a fan of metal music, football, and ancient and medieval city-building games.
